The Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) is the competent authority for the regulation of cosmetic products in Ireland. We are hosting two information evenings in Galway and Dublin to explain the regulations applicable to cosmetics to manufacturers, distributors and responsible persons of cosmetic products.
The evening will consist of presentations outlining the regulatory framework and current topics of interest. You will also have the opportunity to meet with HPRA representatives one-to-one to ask any questions you may have.

Please note: the information event which had previously been planned for Cork on 12th September 2019 has been cancelled due to low numbers. The HPRA may consider hosting this event in Cork at a later date.

Part 1:
- Responsibilities of the Responsible Person
- Requirements in relation to distribution of Cosmetic Products
- The Product Information File and Safety Report: the common pitfalls
Tea/Coffee
Part 2:
- How to be compliant in the manufacture of cosmetic products
- The current state of affairs: recent changes and current hot-topics, including preparing for Brexit.

One-to-one meetings will be allocated on first come, first served basis,based on availability.
