Further Information:

The Health Products Regulatory Authority has been notified of a shortage of the following products:

  • Aprovel 150mg Tablets - EU/1/97/046/022
  • Calcium Acetate 500mg Tablets - PA0281/063/001
  • Depo-Provera 150mg/ml Suspension for Injection - PA0822/124/001
  • Innohep 3,500 IU, Solution for Injection - PA0046/060/009
  • Lyrica 75mg Hard Capsules - EU/1/04/279/011-013
  • Ondansetron 2mg/ml Solution for Injection or Infusion - PA0711/068/001
  • Praxbind 50mcg/ml Solution for Injection/Infusion - EU/1/15/1056/001
  • Prevymis 240mg Film Coated Tablets - EU/1/17/1245/001
  • Visudyne 15mg Powder for Solution for Infusion - EU/1/00/140/001

 

The following shortages have been resolved and supply has resumed to the Irish market:

  • Cimeldine 400mg Film Coated Tablets - PA0126/077/002
  • Kay-Cee-L Syrup 7.5% w/v - PA22637/004/001
  • Pneumovax 23 Solution for Injection in Pre Filled Syringe - PA1286/055/002
  • Propafenone hydrochloride 300mg Tablets - PA2315/116/002
  • Rifinah 300mg/150mg Tablets - PA0540/068/002
  • Sirdupla 25mcg/250mcg Per Metered Dose Pressurised Inhalation, Suspension - PA0577/201/002
