Further Information:

The Health Products Regulatory Authority has been notified of a shortage of the following products:

  • Anapen Junior 150mcg Solution for Injection in Prefilled Syringe – PA22580/001/001
  • Gaviscon Oral Suspension – PA0979/015/001
  • Hydromorphone 20mg/ml Solution for Injection/Infusion – PA0549/030/001
  • Levofloxacin 250mg Tablet – PA1347/048/001
  • Melfen 200mg Film Coated Tablet- PA0126/012/001
  • Nexium Control 20mg Tablet – EU/1/13/860/001-002
  • Quinine Sulphate 300mg Tablet – PA1986/052/001
  • Ultiva 1mg Powder for Concentrate for solution for Infusion – PA1691/032/001

The following shortage has been resolved and supply has resumed to the Irish market:

  • Flucloxacillin 2000mg Powder for Solution for Injection/Infusion – PA1862/003/004
  • Isoptin 40mg Film Coated Tablet – PA2010/003/001
  • Sildenafil 50mg Film Coated Tablet – PA0126/199/002
  • Telmisartan 20mg Film Coated Tablet – PA0126/228/001
  • Zacin 0.025% Cream – PA0827/008/001
