Two batches of a prescription only veterinary medicine Carprieve 50 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Cattle, VPA No. 22664/080/001 are being recalled by Norbrook Laboratories Limited with immediate effect.
This recall is going to veterinary surgeon / retail level.
The reason for the recall is that during stability monitoring analysis of the above batches of Carprieve 50 mg/ml Solution for Injection for Cattle, a related substance (process impurity) was detected above the specified limit.
