One batch of a prescription only veterinary medicine Versifel FeLV, suspension for injection for cats, VPA No. 10387/088/001 is being recalled by Zoetis Belgium S.A. with immediate effect.
This recall is going to veterinarian level.
The reason for the recall: During routine stability monitoring a recent out of specification potency test result at 12 months for Versifel FeLV, suspension for injection for cats, batch 400141, was identified. A slightly lower than expected potency result was recorded for this batch. This recall is being taken as a precaution while further investigation is conducted.
Actions To Be Taken:
Wholesalers and veterinarians are requested to immediately quarantine any units of batch no. 400141 currently in their possession and proceed as advised in the recall letters below.
