The HPRA is hosting a webinar to provide information on veterinary medicines for aquarium and pond fish, caged birds, homing pigeons, terrarium animals, small rodents, ferret and pet rabbits that qualify for registration under Article 5(6) of Regulation 2019/6.
The webinar will take place from 11 am to 12:30 pm on Friday 14 May 2021.
Aim of the webinar
The event aims to be a high-level awareness session for animal health companies on changes in the regulation of exempted veterinary medicinal products intended for aquarium and pond fish, caged birds, homing pigeons, terrarium animals, small rodents, ferret and pet rabbits. The regulatory requirements and oversight of the products concerned is changing with the application of Regulation 2019/6, known as the New Veterinary Regulation, which comes into effect on 28 January 2022.
Agenda
The event will consist of a number of short (5-10 minute) presentations by HPRA staff members, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. Registrants are invited to submit their questions at the time of registration so that they can be addressed either through the presentations or in the Q&A session on the day. It will also be possible to raise questions at the event.
Who should attend
This webinar is directed exclusively to the animal health companies and veterinary manufacturers that manufacture or supply the medicines concerned in Ireland.
