Seasonal influenza vaccines
The HSE's seasonal influenza vaccination programme for 2020/2021 will offer:
Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine (split virion, inactivated) manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur (for at risk groups)
Fluenz Tetra vaccine manufactured by AstraZeneca (for children aged 2-12 years)

The National Immunisation Guideline for Influenza (Chapter 11), includes recommendations for use of influenza vaccines in Ireland, and is available from the HSE website. Further information on the HSE seasonal influenza vaccination programme can be found on the HSE website.
A Q&A on Fluenz Tetra, a nasal spray which contains a live attenuated (weakened) vaccine (LAIV), is also available from the European Medicines Agency website.
Healthcare professionals and members of the public are encouraged to report any suspected adverse reactions associated with the use of seasonal influenza vaccines to the HPRA through the online reporting option.
