HPRA achievements and recognition

The below awards and accreditations highlight external acknowledgement of the importance HPRA places on areas such as wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and learning and development. They recognise and celebrate the effort and commitment of our leaders and our people regarding the continuous improvement approach we take that seeks to always enhance our culture.

Keep Well Mark Accreditation

The HPRA has been awarded the KeepWell Mark, an accreditation that recognises workplace wellbeing. This is part of an ongoing commitment by the HPRA to provide the highest standard of workplace wellbeing and health and safety to our employees. The KeepWell Mark is an evidence-based accreditation and award that recognises and rewards Irish employers for investing in workplace health and wellbeing. Its aim is to help organisations benchmark workplace wellbeing activities through a set of systematic and methodical steps.

Best in Class Mental Health award

In September 2021, the HPRA received the award of Best in Class: Mental Health in the KeepWell Mark annual awards. Achieving the Best in Class: Mental Health award is a very proud moment for the HPRA, as it is a great recognition of the dedication, time and commitment focused on mental wellbeing across our organisation. Focusing on the mental wellbeing of our employees is a key pillar of our wellbeing strategy. We as an organisation also recognise the need to reduce stigma in the workplace and provide strong resources and supports to our employees that are easily accessible. We strive to create an environment where everyone feels supported and secure in talking about their mental health and one that we will continue to focus on and deliver the best for our employees.

Champion Wellbeing Strategy – Irish HR Champion Awards

The HPRA was awarded the Champion Wellbeing Strategy award in the Irish HR Champion Awards for 2022. This prestigious award recognises the hard work and dedication of organisations in delivering ambitious programmes, impacting business performance and transforming employee experience. The HPRA was very proudly nominated in this category by our mental wellbeing partner Suicide or Survive.

Top 100 Companies Leading in Wellbeing Index

For four years in a row, the HPRA are honoured to be listed in the Top 100 Leading in Wellbeing Index by IBEC and Business and Finance. This index recognises the top organisations who are leading the way in workplace wellbeing and their commitment to instilling a best practice approach to wellbeing and creating a lasting impact on their employees and on the business community.

Investors in Diversity Silver award

The HPRA has been awarded the Investors in Diversity Silver award by the Irish Centre for Diversity. This is in recognition of efforts made by the organisation in fostering a culture of equality, diversity and inclusion within the HPRA. The organisation recently conducted an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) survey with staff, and the internal D&I committee are developing an action plan to progress meaningful actions in this significant area, which is a key priority for the HPRA.

Graduate Training Programme award

In November 2021, the HPRA received the award of Graduate Training Programme of the Year 2021 for offering a best-in-class graduate training and development programme over the past 12 months. The HR Leadership & Management Awards celebrate excellence in HR and recognise that it will be key to the future economic prosperity of the Irish economy.

ACCA Approved Employer Accreditation

ACCA Approved Employer accreditation

The HPRA holds an ACCA Approved Employer accreditation. The programme recognises and rewards employers’ quality staff training and development. The HPRA have a dedicated Learning & Development team that focus on the continuous development of employee professional and personal skills and competencies. This reward recognises the HPRA as an organisation that supports the ACCA qualification and offers significant benefit to members of the finance team. This includes a simplified process for meeting CPD requirements and maintaining their status with minimal effort. The HPRA are listed in the ACCA Approved Employer directory.
