Public consultation on HPRA Strategic Plan 2021-2025: Closing date for feedback extended

News Category: Regulatory news

Date: 12/12/2019

Start date of consultation:        19 November 2019
Closing date of consultation:   03 January 2020

The HPRA is seeking input from stakeholders to help inform our next Strategic Plan for 2021 to 2025. Due to the positive engagement received to date, and to ensure all our stakeholders have the opportunity to submit their input, the closing date for receipt of feedback has been extended to 3 January 2020.

The HPRA’s current Strategic Plan 2016–2020 is coming to an end and we are beginning the development of the strategy for 2021-2025.  The next Strategic Plan will build on our achievements under the current plan, taking account of changes to the external context within which we regulate health products and allowing us to continue to meet our core responsibilities while developing our organisation and its resources to meet the challenges of the next 5 years and beyond.

As part of our preparations, we are inviting all our stakeholders to provide us with your views on the issues you feel that we should address in the Strategic Plan 2021-2025. A short document for this is available here: Strategic Plan 2021-2025 Consultation Feedback Form

We welcome feedback by 3 January to strategy@hpra.ie

A response document will be published providing a general overview of the comments received.

This consultation complies with government policy on public consultation, as described in the document ‘Consultation Principles and Guidance’.
