Further Information:

The Health Products Regulatory Authority has been notified of a shortage of the following products:

  • Areloger 15mg Film coated Tablet – PA0577/057/002
  • Fluorouracil 25mg/ml Solution for Injection or Infusion (2.5mg/100ml presentation) – PA0822/223/001
  • Minims Atropine Sulphate 1% Eye Drop Solution – PA0555/017/001
  • Zestan 2.5mg Tablet – PA0126/112/001


The following shortage has been resolved and supply has resumed to the Irish market:

  • Canesten HC 1.0% w/w Cream – PA1410/040/001
  • Fentanyl 500mcg in 10ml Solution for Injection – PA0073/122/002
  • Folinic acid 10mg/ml Solution for Injection (50mg/5ml presentation) – PA0822/198/003
  • Innohep 8,000IU in 0.4ml Solution for Injection – PA0046/060/012
  • Innohep 12,000IU in 0.6ml Solution for Injection – PA0046/060/013
  • Memantine 10mg Tablet – PA0126/255/002
  • MST Continus Suspension 60mg Prolonged Release Granules – PA1688/004/010
  • Protopic 0.03% Ointment – EU/1/02/201/001-002
  • Quinine Sulphate 300mg Tablet – PA1986/052/001
  • Zineryt 40mg + 12mg Powder & Solvent for Cutaneous Solution – PA0046/065/001
