Transition to HPRA E-mail Addresses

 On Tuesday, 1 July 2014, the IMB will change its name to the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA).
Please find below details of our new e-mail addresses. All changes are being introduced on a phased basis.
We wish to give all our stakeholders advance notice as it may be necessary for you to update internal systems and records.
Individual E-mail Addresses
  • On the eve of 1 July all our individual e-mails will change from firstname.surname@imb.ie to firstname.surname@hpra.ie
  • It is important to note however that any emails sent to the existing @imb.ie email addresses will be delivered as normal for the foreseeable future. This transitional period – during which time both versions of the email will be operational – will allow sufficient time for all our stakeholders to update their HPRA contacts and internal systems.

    • Topic Based / Department E-mail Addresses
  • In response to feedback, we are changing a number of our topic based or department e-mail addresses. In these cases, the new email address is designed to be shorter and/or more intuitive.
  • All @hpra.ie email addresses will become operational on 1 July 2014.
  • Again, it is important to note that all existing @imb.ie email addresses will continue to work for the foreseeable future. This will allow sufficient time for all our stakeholders to update their HPRA contacts and internal systems.
  • During this transitional period both the old and new versions of the email will be operational and delivered as normal.
  • Our new e-mail addresses will be included on our new website and in publications.
