Aim of the event

The National Committee is pleased to offer this event aimed towards researchers, animal care staff, designated veterinarians, animal welfare bodies, and members of ethics committees.

The key objectives are to:

  • explore emerging Replacement technologies,
  • deliver an introduction and update to the EURL ECVAM databases,
  • provide a collaborative space for idea exchange and to discuss challenges and successes in applying Replacement, and
  • determine how the NCPA can assist in achieving objectives highlighted during the day.

The event will also provide an opportunity to address questions from delegates and to participate in workshops.

The event will take place as an in-person event, providing opportunities to network with other delegates as well as with specialist experts, National Committee members and HPRA SAP personnel.  

Who should attend

This event is relevant for all sections of the Irish research community including researchers, animal care staff and veterinarians, animal welfare body members, and members of ethics committees.

Registration will open in early January 2025 on the HPRA website.

Fee

Registration for the event will cost €85, and advance registration is essential.

Registrants can avail of an early bird price of €75 if they register by 01 March 2025.
