Deferral of prescription requirement for antiparasitic veterinary medicines in food-producing animals

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, has further deferred the requirement for a veterinary prescription for anti-parasitic veterinary medicines used in food-producing animal species until 1 September 2025. The deferral is stated to be to allow for changes in moving to digital prescribing nationally.
