The latest issue of the HPRA Drug Safety Newsletter (DSN) includes important updates to support safe and appropriate use of the following medicines:
• Systemic fusidic acid and interaction with statin-Reminder of risk of rhabdomyolysis
• Risk of clincially significant arrhythmias when Harvoni (fixed dose combination of sofosbuvir and ledipasvir) or Daklinza (daclatasvir) in combiantion with Sovaldi (sofosbuvir) are given concomitantly with Cardarone X (amiodarone)
