The IMB has been made aware of a recent warning issued by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the medicines regulatory authority in the UK.
The MHRA issued the warning after being contacted by a patient, who had been supplied the product by an herbal practitioner. This product is reported to contain an unlicensed herbal medicine called aconite, which should only be prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner.
To date, this product has not been identified as being supplied to Irish customers via the internet or otherwise imported.
