Further Information:

The Health Products Regulatory Authority has been notified of a shortage of the following products:

  • Angeliq 1mg/2mg Tablet – PA1410/013/001
  • Celebrex 100mg Hard Capsule – PA0822/116/001
  • Celebrex 200mg Hard Capsule – PA0822/116/002
  • Efexor XL 37.5mg Prolonged Release Capsule – PA0822/072/001
  • Epanutin 300mg Hard Capsule – PA0822/011/004
  • Erythrocin 250mg Tablet – PA1142/008/002
  • Geodon 80mg Capsule – PA0822/214/004


The following shortage has been resolved and supply has resumed to the Irish market:

  • Antabuse 400mg Effervescent Tablet – PA1380/008/001
  • Cibacen 5mg Film Coated Tablet – PA2010/029/001
  • Cozaar 12.5mg Film Coated Tablet – PA1286/004/001
  • Dexsol 2mg/5ml Oral Solution – PA22741/003/001
  • Difene 25mg Capsule – PA2256/001/001
  • Genotropin 5.3mg Powder and Solvent for Solution for Injection – PA0822/128/001
  • Keflex 500mg Capsule - PA1126/002/004
  • Pneumovax 23 Solution for Injection in Prefilled Syringe – PA1286/055/002
  • Rebetol 40mg/ml Oral Solution – EU/1/99/107/004
