 We wish to advise you that batch R001-476556 of Clavudale 400mg/100mg tablets for dogs is being recalled with immediate effect.

The recall is going to veterinarian level. 

The reason for the recall is due to out of specification stability results.

Actions To Be Taken:
Veterinarians are requested to please carry out the following actions:

1. Review your inventory immediately and quarantine any units of this batch you have in your possession.
2. Please return the quarantined units to your wholesaler. Please email eu.recall@dechra.com, copying laura.eveson@dechra.com and tracey.smith@dechra.com detailing the number of units quarantined.
3. If you have supplied any units of this batch to any other veterinary clinic, pharmacy or other such facility, please send those customers a copy of the veterinarian recall letter, requesting that they quarantine and return any unused quantities of this batch to you.

Wholesalers are requested to please carry out the following actions:

1. Immediately quarantine any units of this batch you have in your possession.
2. A recall letter has been issued to veterinarians, with an instruction to return quarantined stock to the wholesaler from whom they sourced it. Please quarantine all recalled stock returned from your customers.
3. Please report the quantity of quarantined stock by email to eu.recall@dechra.com, copying laura.eveson@dechra.com and tracey.smith@dechra.com.
4. All stock will be uplifted by Dechra's Logistics Department. Please address the parcel to Dechra Veterinary Products A/S. Mekuvej 9, 7171 Uldum, Denmark.
5. If you have supplied any units of this batch to any other wholesaler, please send those customers a copy of the wholesaler recall letter, requesting that they quarantine and return any unsold quantities of this batch to you.
