We wish to inform you that two batches of Purevax® RCP FeLV lyophilisate and solvent for suspension for injection and Purevax® RCP lyophilisate and solvent for suspension for injection are being recalled with immediate effect.
This recall is going to veterinary clinic level.
The reason for the recall is the potential presence of microcracks at the neck of some vials.

Actions To Be Taken:
Information for Veterinary clinics:
1. Immediately identify and quarantine any units of the above batches in your possession.
2. If you have supplied the batches to any other veterinary surgeon/clinic, please send a copy of the recall letter to them, requesting that they quarantine and return any units of the batch to you.
3. Please return all quarantined stock from the batches, including full or part packs, to the wholesaler who supplied it to you before Friday 29th March 2024. Please include your wholesaler account number within the return to assist in tracking the stock.
Replacement stock of Purevax® RCP FeLV and Purevax® RCP can be provided via your wholesaler.
Information for Wholesalers:
1. Immediately identify and quarantine any units of the above batches in your possession, as well as any units returned to you by your customers.
2. If you have supplied the batch to any other wholesaler, please send them a copy of the recall letter, requesting that they quarantine and return any unsold quantities of the batch to you.
3. Please return all quarantined stock, including full or part packs, from the batch before Friday 12th April 2024 to the logistic services provider, Allphar Services Ltd, Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
Replacement stock of Purevax® RCP FeLV and Purevax® RCP can be provided via your wholesaler.
