We wish to advise you that batch no. F54575X of Semintra® 4 mg/ml Oral Solution for Cats, EU/2/12/146/001, is being recalled with immediate effect.
This recall is going to veterinary clinic level.
The reason for the recall is due to out of specification results for pH and appearance which were detected during routine stability studies.

Actions To Be Taken:
Veterinarians are kindly requested to perform the following actions:
- Immediately identify and quarantine any units of the above batch in your possession.
- If you have supplied the batch to any other veterinary surgeon/clinic, please send a copy of this recall letter to them, requesting that they quarantine and return any units of the batch to you.
- Please return all quarantined stock from the batch, including full or part packs, to the wholesaler who supplied it to you within two weeks of receipt of this letter, for which credit will be issued. Please include your wholesaler account number with the returns to assist in tracking this stock.
Semintra® 4 mg/ml Oral Solution for Cats (30 ml bottle) will be out of stock until the end of 2024 and therefore replacement stock is unavailable.
