Webinar – Registration requirements for veterinary medicines qualifying under Article 5 (6) of the New Veterinary Regulation

On 14 May, the HPRA hosted a webinar to provide information on veterinary medicines for aquarium and pond fish, caged birds, homing pigeons, terrarium animals, small rodents, ferret and pet rabbits that qualify for registration under Article 5 (6) of Regulation 2019/6.

The event provided a high-level awareness session for animal health companies on changes in the regulation of exempted veterinary medicinal products intended for aquarium and pond fish, caged birds, homing pigeons, terrarium animals, small rodents, ferret and pet rabbits.

The regulatory requirements and oversight of the products concerned is changing with the application of Regulation 2019/6, known as the New Veterinary Regulation, which comes into effect on 28 January 2022.
